The Bonus Room.
Three notorious white-collar criminals --
an ex-financier, a former Major League baseball great, and a disgraced politician -- are offered reduced jail terms if they subject themselves to testing a new mind-control drug that the government hopes will help win the War on Terror.
The convicts conspire to hoodwink their government handler, a lonely female psychiatrist, but their scheme is sidetracked by the effects of the drug and their own longing for redemption.
A light-hearted look at our delusions about celebrity and success, The Bonus Room asks whether we can ever recover from the widespread loss of trust now plaguing the country.
